Set up Kinterview for a Teams interview
- Install Kinterview and sign in.
- Paste the job description and upload your resume.
- On macOS, allow Screen & System Audio Recording for Kinterview.
- On Windows, open Teams → Settings → Devices and make sure the speaker matches your Windows default output device.
- Start a Kinterview session, then join the Teams meeting from the invite.
Sharing your screen in Teams
Teams lets you share your whole screen or a single window. Either way, the Kinterview window is excluded from capture, so interviewers do not see it and it does not appear in Teams recordings.
Technical interviews on Teams often include a shared whiteboard or code editor — screenshot analysis lets Kinterview read what is on screen and suggest an answer.
Frequently asked questions
Does my company’s IT need to approve Kinterview for Teams?
No Teams add-in is involved. Kinterview is a separate desktop app that captures system audio, so there is nothing to install inside Teams.
